Rianna Patterson, founder of the Dominica Dementia Foundation has been awarded a full scholarship - funded by the UK Research Institute towards a PhD in dementia at the University of Nottingham, within the School of Medicine. Her PhD thesis will explore the feasibility of technology in dementia care for marginalized communities, including Caribbean populations in London.

Chef Jono’s culinary prowess earned him a spot on Bravo TV’s Below Deck Mediterranean, where he served as the head chef aboard the luxury yacht Mustique. His tenure on the show introduced him to a global audience, showcasing his exceptional cooking skills, calm demeanor, and infectious energy.

Jade Leatham also known as  Jade Tha Gemini, an award-winning writer, musician, and content creator from Dominica, has become a vibrant force in the Caribbean creative community. Dedicated to showcasing the beauty, history, and resilience of the Caribbean, Jade has used her platform on social media—specifically TikTok—to educate and inspire her growing audience of over 30,000 followers.

Dr. Jerelle Joseph, originally from the small village of Vieille Case in Dominica, has carved a path in a male-dominated industry, blending her cultural heritage and scientific expertise to redefine possibilities in STEM. She currently is a professor at Princeton University
